On July 10, 2025, Rainer Bahr, Managing Director of econcept Immobilien und Projektentwicklung KG (GmbH & Co.), was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of BFW Landesverband Berlin/Brandenburg e.V. during the association’s general meeting.
“I am grateful for the trust placed in me by the members and see this appointment as an obligation to further advocate for reliable framework conditions, practical solutions, and a constructive culture of debate in our industry,” said Rainer Bahr. “Especially in times of structural change, clear voices from the field are needed.”
With this scheduled renewal of the board, the association is sending a strong signal for both continuity and fresh momentum at a time when the real estate and housing industry in the capital region is facing significant challenges. The new board, chaired by Michael Kranz (R & W Immobilienanlagen GmbH and R & W Living GmbH), will continue to represent the interests of private and medium-sized real estate companies – in close dialogue with political decision-makers and partners in construction and urban development.
Alongside Rainer Bahr, Jenny Stemmler (Lidl Immobilien Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG) was also elected Deputy Chairwoman, and Joerg Widhalm (Berliner Volksbank eG) was elected Treasurer of the Executive Board. econcept Immobilien und Projektentwicklung KG congratulates all elected members and wishes them great success in their upcoming responsibilities.
