Star architect Daniel Libeskind is responsible for designing the residential building at Chausseestrasse 43. The exclusive building in his characteristic design accommodates a total of 73 apartments. For the project, Libeskind has called on the full repertoire of his architectural experience. His goal was to turn apartments into art in everyday life. In order to meet this requirement, he uses a special material of titanium and ceramic among others for the façade. Libeskind himself sees the project, which is relatively small for his standards, as a contribution to the great architectural tradition of the capital and to urban life in the 21st century.
